# Project visual provenance `sources.json` records source revisions, original SHA-256 hashes, credits, dimensions, and transformations. The first five visuals and the skye example are losslessly encoded WebP copies with no crop or pixel changes. The OBIA, GWpcor, and sam-stars PNG figures preserve the supplied bytes exactly. Other photographs and figures are resized, quality-90 WebP derivatives; each manifest entry specifies its transformations. Full upstream MIT and GPL notices are supplied alongside the files. These upstream notices apply to their respective assets, not to the entire website. - Coregix, pixltsnorm, and PyForestScan: official project documentation/figure assets, distributed with each repository’s MIT notice. - Coregix registration-comparison figure: © 2025 Iosefa Percival, as confirmed by the figure author. The upstream coregix-license.txt is preserved verbatim as the repository's software notice; its named software copyright holder is not the figure attribution. - gwpcorMapper: official screenshot from the GPL-3.0 repository. The map is third-party content, not relicensed by the repository GPL. Its default basemap is `carto-darkmatter` in `R/app_server.R`. Preserve the entire screenshot and separately credit [CARTO](https://carto.com/attributions) and [OpenStreetMap contributors](https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright); those providers’ terms continue to apply. The original PNG and project source are linked in the manifest. - pgRouting: official workshop route map. The workshop LICENSE explicitly specifies [CC BY-SA 3.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/), despite GitHub’s automated NOASSERTION classification. Retain pgRouting contributor and OpenStreetMap data attribution. The WebP copy remains under the same image license. - vrpRouting uses that same pgRouting workshop route map, with the same source, contributor and OpenStreetMap attribution, and CC BY-SA 3.0 notice. - Pōtini point-cloud survey: Living Monuments / Tiapapata Art Centre. This is an object photograph, not a verified 3D-model render. Source: https://heritage.creativesamoa.com/ - Madagascar: Percival et al. (2024), Fig. 2, PLOS ONE, CC BY 4.0. Landsat-8 imagery courtesy of the U.S. Geological Survey. Source: https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0290203 . License: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ . Full figure retained, including panels, legends and scale; resized and WebP-encoded. - LandLensDB forest-trail example input photograph: Sefa (Joseph) Percival. Used with the photographer’s permission. A sample input image, not a software-rendered output. Repository MIT notice is included in landlensdb-license.txt; that code notice is not used as a substitute for photographic permission. - skye hemispherical canopy example: Iosefa Percival. Used with permission for this website. Extracted from the original PNG output of cell 12 (zero-based) in notebooks/demo0.ipynb at revision e8e768c8612ebe455e9f0760576dd17c22f3b6e0 on the trial-lai branch. The notebook displays sky_view.image for its canopy example. The full 790 × 790 frame is preserved through lossless WebP encoding; no generated pixels, crop, or retouching. The upstream MIT software notice is included in skye-license.txt. - OBIA classified tree-crown figure: supplied by Iosefa Percival and used with permission. The selected original PNG is reproduced byte-for-byte, including both RGB and canopy-height panels, the species-code legend, the location inset, and both 20 m scale bars. No crop or retouching. - GWpcor: Joseph Percival and Narumasa Tsutsumida (2017), Figure 1, Geographically Weighted Partial Correlation for Spatial Analysis, GI_Forum 5(1), pp. 36–43. DOI: https://doi.org/10.1553/giscience2017_01_s36 . Publisher rights statement: https://austriaca.at/?arp=0x00369cb6 . License: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/4.0/ . The original figure image was extracted losslessly from PDF page 6 (printed page 41) and is reproduced unchanged at 672 × 567 pixels, preserving all six maps, headings, and legends. Display sizing preserves the complete frame and never exceeds the native width. - sam-stars graphical abstract (V2): supplied by Iosefa Percival and used with permission. The original 6000 × 1800 PNG is reproduced byte-for-byte, preserving all four panels, labels, legends, and the Mask R-CNN baseline. No crop, retouching, or generated content. The project image links to the full-size original for inspection.
